We designed it to be friendly to any browser and any download speed. By not hiring a top-dollar designer, and using Open Source software, we are able to save considerably, and put our resources into the ministry. We also save by running our own server, and not enriching button-pushers. Originally, we served our site through a dial-up (33.6K) line, but quickly outgrew such a small pipe. Now, Dallas, Oregon has xDSL available, and we can serve at 256K at minimal expense. When necessary, we can increase our capacity, albeit at greater cost.
The planned site additions are intended to be functional; no Flash animations and no gratuitous graphics.
